Slow Cooker Recipe: Freezer Bag Chicken Noodle Soup

Homemade chicken noodle soup is perfect on a cold day or when you’re feeling a little under the weather. We have had a lot of appropriate days for it, so I put some together in a freezer bag meal. It is all ready to pull out of the freezer and throw in the slow cooker, but you do have one dry ingredient to add later in the day. Check out the recipe below.

We enjoyed this soup so much that we forgot to snap a picture, but I’m getting ready to make another batch so I will add a picture ASAP. Let me know if you try my recipe. I love to hear thoughts from my readers!

    Yummy! I just made chicken soup yesterday but the ‘old fashioned’ way. I had roasted a whole Chicken on Monday so I boiled the bones and added pretty much the same other ingredients.

    I’ve frozen cooked soup (leftovers or half of a double batch), but never thought to just mix the ingredients together and freeze without cooking. Sounds like a great way to prepare ahead for an easy to cook meal. Thanks for the recipe.

    This is a great idea, I use my slow cooker in the summer too, I just set it outside my door so it doesn’t add heat to my house.

    I haven’t made this Chicken Noodle soup yet, but I plan on making it and freezing it. It sounds so simple and delicious. I am always on the lookout for meals that freeze and taste wonderful when made up. Thank you for this recipe.

    This is a great idea! Freeze most of the ingredients of a meal and then put them into a crock pot when needed.

    I love homemade chicken noodle soup..but I live alone and do not like to cook much. However the fact that this recipe can be frozen for later use is fantastic
