Angel’s Wish Comes True #GiveWhereWeLive

•

Telus is such a great company for so many reasons, not the least of which is their awareness of social issues and their community. With the #GiveWhereWeLive campaign, Telus is showing support to others who dedicate themselves to helping others. After asking Canadians to share how they care in their communities, Telus learned about Angel. Angel is a remarkable young woman who makes blankets and pajamas for sick children. Her goal is to wrap every sick child in a warm hug and she has raised more than $230,000 to do just that.

I’m a mother of a child with a chronic illness and I have to say that I truly appreciate every gesture to make his life better, no matter how small. Angel’s story really touched me, and clearly it had an impact on TELUS as well. When the good folks at TELUS found out Angel wanted to help even more children but didn’t have the space, they decided to help by building a brand new sewing studio. Watch and share Angel’s story here: http://givewherewelive.ca.

Thank you Angel! You are truly an angel and I hope you inspire more people to reach out and lend a hand.
