As a Mom trying to provide for a big family, I am always on the lookout for tools that will help me save both money and time. In this digital age, there are a lot of shopping apps on the market and I’ve tried many of them, but I think I finally found one that does exactly what I need. Flipp (developed by Toronto-based tech company, Wishabi) brings the flyer to the digital age, aggregating all your favorites onto one digital device for access anywhere, anytime.
Flipp is more than just a collection of digital flyers. It can detect where you are, or you can tell it where you want to look, and finds you the flyers and deals in that area. While browsing your flyers, you can add stores to your favourites list, and you can also create a shopping list by just tapping the items that you are interested in. I love that feature! I can pull up my shopping list and not try to scroll through the whole flyer again once I get to the store!
Another fantastic feature allows you to search for specific item. This one is particularly useful for holiday shopping. I need a turkey for Thanksgiving, so I typed in “turkey” and got a lot of different results. I can now look through all of them and choose the deal that I think is best. What a time saver! I don’t even need to look through all of the flyers. The folks at Flipp have dubbed this season “Flippsgiving” because it is so easy to save money this Thanksgiving with their app.
