We have a lot of fall and winter birthdays in my family, so when September rolls around and I start shopping for birthday gifts, I start thinking about Christmas gifts as well. We welcomed three new babies to the extended family this year, up from two the year before, so the list just keeps growing! Our families focus on the children for individual gift giving and do different types of gift exchanges for all of the adults. It helps to keep our expenses reasonable and we can focus on just spending time together during the holidays rather than worrying about how many gifts we need to buy.

This 8” Acer Tablet would make any child happy, but I think it would make a great gift for the pre-teens in the family. They are old enough to understand how to care for this type of technology and kids that age are very tech savvy, so they know how to use it. They can use this tablet as an educational tool as well as for fun! My 10 and 11 year olds would both love to own their own tablets and it’s a gift I’m considering for them.
The Captain America Super Soldier Stealthfire Shield is another fantastic toy for the Cool Kid in your life. I know I have two boys who would go crazy for this. Actually, my grown up son would probably love this too. You are never too old for superheroes!
Like most of the world, we are big fans of the movie “Frozen” and I know my youngest son and my daughter would both love to have an Olaf of their own. I’m not sure I can choose which child to give it to, so I may have to pick up two Olafs!
