What happens when we disconnect?

•

Our lives can get caught up in technology. Not only are we entertained by our televisions, smartphones, tablets and computers, but we use them for everything. I can order dinner from my computer, check the weather from my phone, and find out what homework my kids should be doing by looking at their classroom blogs. The PVR ensures I never miss my favourite shows, and my ipad goes with me when I travel so I can always stay connected.

But what happens when we disconnect?

From power outages to rainy days, sometimes the most unexpected moments can bring us together.

With blackouts on the rise and ice storms more common than ever before, whether by chance or by choice, we tend to connect more when we’re powered down.

The latest video from Kraft Peanut Butter shows the powerful moments of connection that can be created when we disconnect.

It’s just like the old days when there was no cell phones or internet, love and fun and a close family! We are missing these things in this era, that’s why kids have no respect for others and don’t have the caring for man kind because so many are detached and baby sat by video games and texting! So nice when you can do this!

I’m fine with disconnecting, but I think my hubby and daughter would go crazy.

When we unplug, we connect with each other and that’s a good thing
