It was a cold winter, and spring has been a little unpredictable at best. So, even though I know the warm weather is right around the corner, I’m looking forward to escaping to some summer temperatures in Florida. However, going from cool spring temperatures to humid Florida weather takes some preparation.
I headed to Shoppers Drug Mart to pick up some of the necessities for our upcoming trip. While I love Florida, there’s no question that it’s hot there. I need some powerful sunscreen, a long lasting deodorant and a good razor!
I’m a huge fan of Aveeno products, so the Aveeno Protect + Hydrate Sunscreen SPF 45 sunscreen was an easy choice. It’s safe to use on your face, and it’s sweatproof and waterproof, two things I definitely need in Florida.
Standing in busy lines at Disney World is as good a reason as any to get a good deodorant. I picked up Mitchum Advanced Gel Deodorant for Men because it offers 48 hours of protection and I liked the smell of it. I have always liked Lady Speed Stick, so the Lady Speed Stick Clinical Stress Defense was an easy choice. It protects against wetness and odour for 48 hours while also moisturizing your skin.
In a last ditch attempt to tone down my winter white legs, I grabbed some Jergens Natural Glow Firming Daily Moisturizer. Even if it doesn’t give me the tanned look I’m hoping for, it will give me soft and moisturized skin.
To show off those sort of tanned legs, I got myself a Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle razor. It’s a vital tool for sun soaked vacations, and one that I don’t want to forget.
