I remember the debut of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, many years ago. My little brother would watch episodes over and over again, while karate chopping the air in front of him. Decades later, kids are still enjoying the ninja turtles and Season 4 of the new series is about to premiere.
To coincide with the new season, they have also launched a new set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toys and a fully immersive, interactive online experience called TMNTCity Under Siege. The series of online videos lets you get to know the toys before you buy them – in addition to telling a compelling story, you can click on pop-ups in the videos to research each individual character in detail (including their background, allegiance, combat style, and history). Kids get to learn about the characters and decide which ones they really want before you even go to the store!
I was provided with a Shellraiser vehicle and several action figures, and I am excited to share them! The only problem I’m having is who to share them with. My brother is in his thirties now, but I suspect he might still enjoy them. If not, I’m sure his son would! Then again… I have some boys who might like them too. We are heading to CityUnderSiege.ca to figure it all out.
