A new year brings so many promises for the future, and we make our own promises too. We resolve to eat better, exercise more, spend more quality time with the family and enjoy ourselves more. This year my promise to myself is to live my best life. I am enjoying the moments while I’m in them and trying not to stress and worry so much. I’m also trying to manage my health better.
Just over a year ago, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Chronic pain and fatigue had been plaguing me for almost a year prior to that, so I was grateful for some answers but not very happy with that particular diagnosis. I like things that are concrete. I want a blood test that gives a clear diagnosis, and a course of treatment that will resolve everything. That is not to be though, so I begrudgingly have accepted my fate. I started a prescription medication and I started researching natural treatments.
Everything that I have read has suggested that a magnesium deficiency may be one of the causes for fibromyalgia. A list of potential causes for a magnesium deficiency left me convinced that it was something I needed to add to my diet. I studied the foods that I should be eating more of (nuts, spinach, yogurt) and acknowledged the list of things I need to be doing less (drinking soft drinks, eating sweets). I also chose to add a daily supplement to my diet, just to ensure I am getting what I need.
I take my daily magnesium supplement along with a host of other vitamins and supplements every day, and I have noticed an improvement in my energy and my focus. However, I hate taking so many vitamins and I often forget.
Orange Naturals sent me a box of MagPop to try, and I haven’t missed my daily magnesium since.

MagPop is 100mg of pure elemental magnesium in a convenient single serve packet.
