Continuing with the Disney Princess theme, I decided to go with a comfortable Belle Disney Bound. With her love for books and her down to earth personality, I think Belle would appreciate a more casual style, and when you you are married to the Beast you can’t always expect to be dressed to the nines.
What is Disney Bounding?
Disney Bounding is the act of dressing to represent a Disney character. It is not wearing costumes, but putting together an outfit that would be perceived as a regular outfit, but could also be identified as being reminiscent of a Disney character.
Disneyland and Walt Disney World both prohibit adults from entering the parks wearing costumes. This ensures that children do not confuse regular park goers with Disney characters. Disney Bounding began when a Disney enthusiast wanted to show her love of Disney characters, without breaking the dress code rules of the Disney Parks.
Belle Disney Bound
I can picture Belle sitting in a big velvet chair in the middle of her library, enjoying one of her most treasured novels. Her rose earrings and yellow bow hairband still showcase the pretty princess style, but she’s embracing her roots and foregoing the fancy gown.
Eventually I will share each of the princesses in their comfortable and casual outfits. For now, you can look back on the comfy Cinderella Disney Bound. She and Belle could hang out together!
