Tide Ultra Stain Release vs. Avery

•

My children have had a lot of fun experiences over the years, but this one brought pure joy to my daughter. I gave her pure white t-shirts, a jar of jam and a bottle of ketchup and told her to go ahead and make a mess. She went all out! Here she is spreading strawberry jam on a shirt, followed by pretreating the stain with Tide Ultra Stain Release.

And you can really see how much she enjoyed spreading the ketchup around on this shirt!

No, I haven’t lost my mind. There is some method to my madness. As part of the Tide Ambassador program, I get to test Tide Ultra Stain Release against some of life’s most common and most challenging messes. In my house, kids (and sometimes adults) often end up wearing part of their sandwiches, or the ketchup drips off the burger onto the shirt. We need a strong detergent to keep our clothes looking fresh. So let’s see how Tide Ultra Stain Release did.

Before washing, I labeled the shirts with a J for jam and a T for tomato (ketchup). Then I washed the shirts in warm water with Tide Ultra Stain Release. Here are the results.

jam before and after

ketchup before and after

I’m impressed that all of that ketchup actually came out. There was so much and she didn’t get all of it covered in the pretreating, but as you can see, there’s no trace of it. The jam all came out too, which didn’t actually surprise me as much. I can wait to see what else Tide Ultra Stain Release can get out!

Disclosure: I am a P&Gmom ambassador. As part of my affiliation with this group I receive products and have been compensated to put Tide to the stain test. The opinions on this blog are my own.

I love Tide I just wished it wasn’t sooooo expensive, but then you need to pay good money for good quality products!!!

I used to think it was too expensive, but after I learned how much longer your clothes last when washed with it, I think it’s a bargain.

I am a big user of Tide. It really does seem to be the best at removing laundry stains.

I have to admit I haven’t purchased Tide in quite some time simply because other products come on for better sales. I think I’ll try it again to see about the value compared to cost.

I admit I often go for cheaper brands of detergent & I can see it does come with a price for sure.. and that price is stained clothing. Because I know for a fact there’s no way my brand gets ketchup out like that. Kudos to Tide because that was an awful lot of ketchup & I can’t believe it all came out!
