In a home with multiple children, a dog and a couple of possibly uncoordinated parents, a powerful detergent is an absolute necessity. The alternative is replacing our wardrobes on a regular basis, and that is outside of my budget! So, for the past couple of months my family has been putting Tide Ultra Stain Release to the test.
We tested orange juice on a white shirt. It was freshly squeezed, left to dry and not pretreated. After all, my kids don’t always let me know when they’ve had a spill on their clothing and I don’t have time to examine every piece of clothing before I put it in the washer. A couple of days later I washed it with Tide Ultra Stain Release in warm water.
The result? A clean white t-shirt!
With a great deal of gusto, my daughter spread ketchup all over a shirt and rubbed it in. She then pretreated the stain with Tide Ultra Stain Release, which we also used to wash the shirt in warm water. Again, we have a clean white shirt!
Strawberry jam is another known stain maker in our house, so we rubbed some of that into a white t-shirt and went through the pretreating process before washing it. Once again, we have a clean white t-shirt! All of our tests were successful and all of the white shirts are ready to be stained another day.
When we use Tide products our clothing not only comes out clean, it also comes out looking as good as new. The fibers are protected from damage in the washer so our clothes last longer, saving money and your favourite sweater!
