I wanted to put Tide purclean to the same test as I did with Tide in the past. I took one of the white t-shirts that I had on hand and did the ketchup test. In keeping with the same parameters as I did in the past, I treated the ketchup stain baby putting Tide purclean directly onto the stain (not shown in video), rubbed it in and let it sit for about ten minutes before adding it to the warm water wash. I have been doing our every day laundry in cold water with Tide purclean for a couple of weeks and everything has been coming out as clean as always. It’s great to know that serious stains will also come out, even if it means pre-treating the stains and washing in warm water. My washing machine is over twenty years old, and while it still does a great job I know that it probably doesn’t compare to the new energy efficient machines out there.
