My daughter’s Christmas wish list last year had Novi Stars right at the top of it. I didn’t really know a lot about them, and I was surprised when I found them in the store. They weren’t the typical fashion doll or baby doll that she normally asked for. These little alien dolls are very unique!

I am actually pretty impressed at her choice in dolls. I believe in learning through play, and I think stepping outside of the typical fashion doll play and appreciating these unique little dolls shows an ability to accept differences. And let’s face it … they are pretty fun! On the far left of the above photo is Malie Tasker. She has four arms that bend and glow in the dark. Next is Tula Toned who is filled with cosmic goo! Her legs and eyes are two different colors and she has wings and a tail. Her goo filled legs are Avery’s favourite feature, lol. And finally, Sila Clops has one eye that really lights up. She is a sparkly purple colour that is a big hit with my daughter. Their stands also glow in the dark, which is always a fun feature.
