I used Tide before I joined the PG Mom team in 2013 and eventually became a loyal Tide customer. Tide has a great scent, and they have non-scented options for those who don't like it. It did a good job cleaning my clothing too. When I had small children, Tide would take the urine smell out of soiled bedding better than other brands, so I always kept some on hand. However, there were cheaper laundry detergents available. I felt they did an equally good job on regular loads of laundry, so I bought … [Read more...] about Tide: Reviewed it. Loved it. Disclosure: I have partnered with YMC and Armor All and have received compensation for this post. All opinions are my own. My husband and I save money on our Florida vacations by driving, usually with two drivers and a spacious van to let the 3 kids spread out. This summer both my husband and the van had to stay behind while the kids and I got to take a trip to The Palm Beaches, Florida. In preparation for the trip, I picked up some USB car chargers so that everyone in the front and … [Read more...] about Keep Your Next Road Trip Fresh with Air Essentials
Waffles are highly coveted by my children. Since I didn't have a waffle maker before receiving the Breville No Mess Waffle Maker, they had to wait until we were out somewhere to order waffles. You can imagine how often they asked to go out for breakfast! Thankfully, those days are over and now I can make them waffles right here at home. It wasn't such a concern forty years ago, especially when you have olive skin that rarely burned. Today we know a little more about the importance of sun protection. Thanks to research, we know that a single sunburn in childhood can double one's risk of developing melanoma. That's not a … [Read more...] about Do you want zinc oxide in your sunscreen?
Almost seven years ago my youngest son met his best friend at Build-A-Bear. I should say, he built his best friend, a dog named “Ben”. For years afterwards, Ben remained at Griffin’s side. He slept with him and went on car rides with him, and even went to school with him for the first couple of years. He was Griffin’s security item and it all started at my daughter’s birthday party at Build-A-Bear. Recently I had the chance to take Griffin back to Build-A-Bear, along with three of his cousins, … [Read more...] about Win a $50 Build-a-Bear Gift Card
